The Fountain
Take a look at Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church. The Fountain is my current ministry setting. FA is a very diverse congregation in a ripe ministry field in the arts district of Paducah, KY (Memphis Annual Conference of the UMC). The church has a growing nursery and children’s ministry, a youth ministry, and several older adult’s ministries including a UMM (United Methodist Men) and UMW (United Methodist Women’s) group. A budding young adult ministry is in its infancy. This church serves its community and is well-connected to the area.
My excitement for the ministry here is growing as I’m finding it well within my bounds to take some creative liberties and, for the most part, the congregation is following.
