Tick Tock…

…went the clock.

The day was a blur. Here goes, Marley and Me style.

12:00 a.m. — Returned from an emergency visit to the hospital.

12:30 a.m. — Bid farewell to my secretary who came to watch the boys so I could go to the hospital.

1:15 a.m. — Went to sleep.

6:30 a.m. — The first sounds from Aiden.

6:45 a.m. — Cracked my eyes open to see Cooper crawling into my bed.

7:00 — Aiden is up. Cooper is up.

7:10 – 8:30 — The boys morning routine, snuggles, crayons, breakfast, Toy Story, giggles.

8:30 – 9:30 — Getting myself, my bag, and things for the day ready (and more snuggles).

9:30 — The super-nanny arrives.

9:30 – 10:00 — Briefed the nanny, grabbed McDonald’s coffee, went by the post office, and made it to church.

10:00 — Worship architects meeting.

12:00 p.m. — Meeting with a member.

12:45 — Meeting with another member.

1:15  — Headed back to the hospital.

2:45 — Grabbed a salad from Midtown Market.

3:00 — Headed back to the church (to eat salad)

3:30 — Finally made it to my office.

3:30 – 4:30 — Previewed curriculum on Cokesbury’s website, called my lawyer, looked at a CVLI license.

4:30 — Meeting with a member.

5:15 — Meeting with another member.

6:00 — Lay Leadership Committee meeting.

7:45 — Headed home.

8:00 — Sent the super-nanny home.

8:20 — Ate the second salad I bought earlier at Midtown Market.

8:45 — Shower

9:00 – 10:20 — Junk TV

It’s time to crash. Tomorrow is that long too. Still, and really, I am so thankful. So many good conversations today. So much good direction. I didn’t see my babies enough today though. That’s the only “thing.” However, I’m going in later tomorrow since I’m staying straight through until choir. This is what you do. This is how you make it work. Tomorrow my work day is 11:00 – 7:30 instead of 9:00 – 5:00. This is how I’m rocking the Wednesday version of #pastormom.
